Summer Facility Updates & Closures

Please review the updates below for temporary closures, renovations, and facility impacts throughout the summer.

Wilson Recreation Center

Women's & Men's Locker Rooms

• The Wilson Men's and Women's Locker Rooms will be closed Monday, July 20 through Sunday, August 23 for planned renovations.

During this closure, we will be installing new lockers, resurfacing the floors, and updating the shower hardware and mirrors to enhance the locker room experience. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these improvements.

Saunas Temporarily Offline

The saunas in the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms at Wilson Recreation Center are temporarily unavailable as we prepare for the installation of new saunas. Sauna access remains available at Brodie Recreation Center.

Court Closures – Summer Camps

Wilson Courts 1 & 2 will be offline during the following times:

Volleyball Camp | July 9–19

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 1:00 PM–6:00 PM

Women’s Soccer Camp | July 20–24

• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–12:00 PM

Climbing Wall Closure

The Wilson Recreation Center Climbing Wall is closed due to renovations for a new Boulder Wall. The anticipated reopening is early Fall 2026 semester.

Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion Closure

Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion is closed throughout the summer for updated lighting and varsity locker room renovations. Members can view Brodie Aquatics Center pool hours in MyRec for lap swimming availability.

Tennis & Pickleball Court Updates

East Campus Courts
East Campus tennis and pickleball courts are currently closed due to the Lilly Library project.

West Campus Courts
West Campus tennis and pickleball courts remain available from dawn to dusk, except during PE courses, scheduled Athletic events, and maintenance.

    Red Mango

• Monday - Thursday: 12:00PM - 8:00PM
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday: CLOSED

Brodie Recreation Center

• Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 9:00PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00AM - 6:00PM

* Cohan Fields are on a first come, first serve basis during open hours and Duke IDs will be checked at the gate.  Hours are subject to change for priority scheduling, Athletics events, and weather.
