Located behind the Devils Bistro and Central Rec basketball and activity field, Central Campus Pool offers the opportunity to all in the Duke community to enjoy outdoor aquatic recreation. Now open!
Beginning May 10, all Recreation & Physical Education facilities will have adjusted hours for the summer term. Summer hours will run through August 17. All facilities will be closed for Memorial Day on May 26 and Independence Day on July 4.
If you need a boost to start your day, a way to release some energy and stress at the end of the day, or if you are just looking for a fun, healthy way to take a break between classes and work, then register for one of the many PE courses being offered this summer!
Mark and Cindy Kuhn have made a commitment to their health and fitness by working with a TRX personal trainer at Duke since the summer of 2012. We asked them why they started and what keeps them coming back.
In January, 2014 Duke Adaptive Climbing was recognized by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and rewarded a Quality of Life Grant. These funds will allow us to purchase the equipment needed to support adaptive climbing events but we are still seeking resources to make the program sustainable.
Duke Recreation & Physical Education offers a wide range of programs that encourage healthy lifestyles through education and recreation. Gifts support our daily operations and provide funding for new intramural and club sport teams, equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
