Professor Scott D. Yakola, Chair of HWPE, and Assistant Professor of the Practice, Janis Hampton, were honored along with several other faculty members from across the campus a the Duke vs. Pitt Women's Soccer game on Sunday, October 13. As part of a Professor Appreciation event, the Women’s Soccer team celebrated those professors who have been impactful in their academic pursuits and life during their time at Duke.
“Being recognized by these student-Athletes is special because it comes from them and is a reflection of their experiences with us as faculty members,” said Yakola.
