Assistant Director of Sport Clubs

Brittney joined the Duke Recreation & Physical Education team in the summer of 2019. Prior to becoming a Blue Devil, Brittney earned her B.S. in Sport Management at Towson University, and her M.Ed. at the University of Central Florida.

Brittney first discovered Sport Clubs at Towson University where she was involved with the Women’s Club Rugby team. Wanting to be more involved, Brittney became a Sport Club Supervisor and a member of the Sport Club Executive Board. She quickly realized that she had a passion for the blend of sports, leadership, and skill development that the world of Sport Clubs provides. Brittney changed her major her senior year to Sport Management to pursue a career in Campus Recreation.

After graduating from Towson University, Brittney secured a role as the Graduate Assistant for Sport Clubs at the University of Central Florida where she was able to continue her growth and development as a Campus Recreation professional. After obtaining her Master’s, Brittney remained at UCF to serve as an interim Coordinator of Student Conduct for a year.

Here at Duke, Brittney loves being able to help provide opportunities for students to continue being involved in sport at a competitive level, and the unique communities that our clubs provide for student belonging.

Outside of work, Brittney likes watching and playing a variety of Sports, playing video games, cooking, and spoiling her two cats, Milo and Mango.
