The fitness program offers free group fitness classes, fitness counseling, and assessments, while pay for services such as Personal Training, Pilates, Small Group Programs, and Private Group Fitness Classes are also available upon request. Our services aim to enhance fitness knowledge and skills, bring awareness to health benefits, all while helping to monitor progress and promote realistic fitness and body image goals.

We offer over 60 free group fitness classes per week to meet your fitness needs, available at both Wilson and Brodie Recreation Centers! Our classes include a mix of cardio, strength and flexibility. All levels are welcome in group fitness classes. Join in on the fun! All classes are free for Recreation members.
Duke personal training will provide you with the knowledge, skills and encouragement you need to achieve your health and fitness goals. Our quality trainers offer support and guidance at very competitive rates. We also offer Private Pilates Personal Training. All levels are welcome from novice to experienced athletes.
Duke Rec offers several Small Group Training programs to the University community. These programs provide a unique experience with specialized equipment and individualized attention by a certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor. Register in advance for these programs, as space is limited!
Pilates is a total body workout program which offers a unique challenge to your strength and flexibility. Your certified Pilates Instructor will help you maintain good form and proper posture throughout the movement for the most effective training session. Pilates Training is only available at Brodie Recreation Center.
