Happening Today

Description

This NEW space is intended to provide a different way of training. We have transformed a racquetball court into a fully functional unique training space. The space is made up multiuse equipment such as kettlebells, resistance bands, medicine balls, boxing bags, climbing rig, etc. The possibilities are endless and gives our members the freedom to get creative with their workouts. We also offer a variety of workshops and programs geared around cross training as well as rock climbing techniques.

*Please note that Duke Recreation programs & Physical Education classes have scheduling priority in the training space.

  • 5 heavy bags, 1 speed bag
  • Rig with rock climbing holds and rings
  • 2 storage racks with: Resistance bands, kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbells, stretching mats, foam rollers, jump ropes, medicine balls, physioballs
  • 2 Tires
  • Battle ropes
  • Plyo boxes

Policies

  • Must be 16 years or older to use the space
  • Proper athletic attire and closed toe/heel shoes required
  • Closed-top, non-glass bottles of water only
  • Food is not permitted
  • Chalk is not allowed
  • Wipe down equipment after each use
  • Duke Rec and PE programs have priority of equipment/space during their scheduled times
  • Functional training equipment must remain in the designated area
