Women+ Climb Nights

Women+ Outdoor Adventures is a gender-expansive community created to empower women, intersex, and genderfluid individuals to explore rock climbing, the gym, and outdoor spaces together. Our signature events are our climb nights led by trained OA staff members that will center on different themes like technique building or endurance. Climbing and outdoor spaces can offer a magnitude of health benefits, but such spaces are often dominated by men and create an atmosphere of toxic masculinity, with studies showing a majority of women and queer people feeling less confident and comfortable. We hope to increase confidence, leadership, and a sense of belonging in the outdoors & climbing world. The focus of this program is individual skill development within an inclusive, supportive community, and all levels of climbing ability are welcome.
