The American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program provides instruction to help swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills. It is designed to give students a positive learning experience. Learn-to-Swim teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and to be safe in, on and around the water. Lessons are available at both Brodie & Wilson Center Aquatic Centers during the school year and are scheduled on the availability of the pool, as well as both the client’s & the instructor’s schedule. During the summer, classes are held at Central Campus Pool. All registration inquiries may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we encounter minor weather, we will do water safety lesson on the deck. If lessons are canceled due to severe weather, a make-up will be held on a Friday within the two week session or the last Saturday of the month for the Saturday lessons. Make-up classes will not be available for students who miss a class. Fees cannot be pro-rated or refunded. If we have more weather days than make-up days we were terribly unlucky and very sorry however, we do not offer refunds.
