The Department of Recreation and Physical Education offers affordable membership opportunities to the Duke University community. Rec & PE Memberships include access to both Wilson Recreation Center and Brodie Recreation Center, as well as access to programs such as personal training, free group fitness classes, and free fitness orientations at Wilson Recreation Center and Brodie Recreation Center.
Includes Undergraduates*, Graduate/Professional Students**, and Student Spouses
*Undergraduate students’ recreation fees are paid through the student’s bursar account per semester. These students are not required to register for a membership as long as they are registered for class in the respective semester.
**Graduate/Professional Student memberships have several payment methods. Check with your financial aid advisor if you have questions about the payment of your membership.

****FLEX OPTION: FLEX can be loaded onto DukeCards by visiting one of the Self-Service Locations around campus.
Camp and conference cards must be activated to access all Recreation facilities.
If you are sponsoring a spouse or child for a recreation center membership or card: Spouses and children must be sponsored through the OIT Guest Tool in order for cards and memberships to be renewed. Visit https://idms.oit.duke.edu/affiliates/sponsor and follow instructions carefully to begin the sponsorship process prior to enrolling in a Family Membership at the DukeCard office.”
