The Department of Recreation and Physical Education offers affordable membership opportunities to the Duke University community. Memberships include access to both Wilson and Brodie Recreation Centers as well as access to programs such as personal training, FREE group fitness classes, and FREE fitness orientations at Wilson and Brodie.
Includes Undergraduates*, Graduate/Professional Students, and Graduate Spouses
*Undergraduate students’ recreation fees are paid through the student’s bursar account per semester. These students are not required to register for a membership as long as they are registered for class in the respective semester.
Includes Faculty, Staff, Visiting Scholars, Retirees, and Alumni**
**Beginning September 1, 2016 Alumni can only access the gym with their PERMANENT alumni card. Temp cards will no longer be available.
***FLEX OPTION: For your convenience, Duke employees, faculty, staff and affiliates who do not have a recreation membership are encouraged to use FLEX to access the facilities.
Camp and conference cards must be activated to access all Recreation facilities.
If you are sponsoring a spouse or child for a recreation center membership or card: Spouses and children must be sponsored through the OIT Guest Tool in order for cards and memberships to be renewed. Go to https://idms.oit.duke.edu/affiliates/sponsor to begin the sponsorship process.

IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY!
We want to celebrate with you by offering 7 free visits during the month of your birthday! Your card can be used at the Wilson Center and Brodie Gym and is valid only during the month of your birthday. The only requirement is you must present your DukeCard and a valid form of identification that includes your photo and date of birth. Members of Duke Recreation are ineligible for this promotion. You must be an employee to take advantage of this promotion.
Payment Methods: Cash, Debit, Check, FLEX and Payroll Deduction are currently available.
