Free Fitness Workshops

Duke Fitness & Wellness has put together a collection of fun, informative, and interactive workshops to offer FREE to student groups! These topics tackle the latest issues in health-related fitness, workout trends, and fitness mythology and include titles such as:

  • Explore the Core
  • Efficient Fitness for the Busy Student
  • Hypertrophy (i.e., “bulking up”) Training
  • Fitness Myths and Misconceptions
  • Intense Interval Training
  • Learn How to Design Your Own Strength Training Program
  • Stretching How-To
  • We can also design a program based on requested topics!

We can come to your dorm or meeting place or host your session in the Wilson or Brodie Recreation Center. Sessions will include interactive lectures, practice of relevant fitness skills, and useful handouts.
