2015-2016 Membership Rates

The Department of Recreation and Physical Education offers affordable membership opportunities to the Duke University community. Memberships include access to both Wilson and Brodie Recreation Centers as well as access to programs such as personal training, FREE group fitness classes, and FREE fitness orientations at Wilson and Brodie.

“Family” rates include 2 adults and 2 children ages 10-18.

* Undergraduate students’ recreation fees are paid through the student’s bursar account per semester. These students are not required to register for a membership as long as they are registered for class in the respective semester.

FAMILY PLAN ENROLLMENT UPDATE

The Primary holder must sponsor immediate family members to include spouse and domestic partner that are NOT employees and children ages 10-18, by visiting http://oit.duke.edu/email-accounts/netid/guest/index.phpto be included on the plan.

Please visit the website and follow the instructions carefully before signing up online or visiting the Card office.

RESOLUTIONS & RECREATION * WILSON CENTER * JANUARY 3-10, 2016
Happy New Year!  We invite students, employees, faculty and staff who are non-members to kick start 2016 by participating in our first annual Recreation and Resolutions initiative!  Come enjoy seven free days of fitness at no cost. Let 2016 be the beginning of a FIT NEW YOU. All you need is a valid Duke Card.  Waivers are required and available at check-in for first time visitors.

AMERICAN HEART MONTH * FEBRUARY 1-29, 2016
February is National American Heart Month. This is a great time to remind students and colleagues throughout the Duke Community the benefits of regular physical activity. Did you that know exercise helps control weight,combats health conditions and diseases, improves mood, boosts energy,promotes better sleep and can be fun? We invite you to participate and take advantage of our state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment,as well as the other fun opportunities we offer. A Membership is not required. All you need is your valid DukeCard and a waiver.

FRIENDLY FRIDAYS  * WILSON & BRODIE CENTERS *
MARCH 4 – APRIL 29
Members are invited to host a co-worker, colleague or fellow student that is not a member to visit our facilities on Fridays beginning March 4 -April 29.The member and their guest are expected to follow the operating policy that requires the member/host  remain within the facilities with their guest  for the duration of the visit. Guests must provide a valid DukeCard and sign a waiver during the initial visit.

IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY! 
We want to celebrate with you by offering 7 free visits during the month of your birthday! Your card can be used at the Wilson Center and Brodie Gym and is valid only during the month of your birthday.  The only requirement is you must present your DukeCard and a valid form of identification that includes your photo and date of birth.

  • You are encouraged to visit  recreation.duke.edu for class schedules and other upcoming opportunities planned for late fall and spring semester.
