David Roberts: January’s Employee of the Month

Most of you know David. Not only is he a very popular Yoga/Pilates instructor for Group Fitness, but he is also a much sought after Personal Trainer. David has excellent client retention and renewal rates because he listens to his clients and gives them challenging but doable workouts.

One of David’s clients, Rachel Hirschey, a very new mom wrote, “I just wanted to let you know that I have had two sessions with David and he is wonderful! He mixes things up a lot and keeps me interested in the workouts. He also has a great personality and is very enjoyable to work with and talk to. I think he has a good amount of knowledge and a real passion for training – I feel as though he does this simply because he enjoys it. Just wanted to give him the kudos he deserves!”

In addition to his teaching and training, David is leading our Cardio and Core small group training class this month. This class offers tough cardio work interspersed with core strengthening activities.

David is simply a joy to have on the team. As Rachel noted, he really does love working at Duke, and we are incredibly lucky to have him.
