Duke Recreation & Physical Education would like to extend congratulations, a big thank you, and best wishes to Jeff Leary, our Fly Fishing Physical Education instructor, on his retirement! Thank you for your dedication to Duke & our Physical Education Program! We were excited to chat with Jeff and hear about some of his best memories from teaching at Duke.
You might not have been around when this was in style, but you can jam to the ‘80s and ‘90s with our annual end of the year Blow Out Work Out! Join us on Friday, April 29 from 2-4 pm for our End of the Year Blowout Workout (BOWO). The theme is 80’s/90’s dance party so come dressed in your best duds! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, and refreshments will be provided!
Join us for Friendly Fridays! Members are invited to host a co-worker, colleague or fellow student that is not a member to visit our facilities on Fridays beginning March 4 -April 29. The member and their guest are expected to follow the operating policy that requires the member/host remain within the facilities with their guest for the duration of the visit. Guests must provide a valid DukeCard and sign a waiver during the initial visit.
Duke Recreation & Physical Education offers a wide range of programs that encourage healthy lifestyles through education and recreation. Gifts support our daily operations and provide funding for new intramural and club sport teams, equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
